The President of the Youth Caucus, Novak Đurić, and Advisory Board member Isidora Zorić attended the public debate on the topic “Youth and the EU,” organized by the European Movement in Serbia on May 19 at the European House.
The panelists included Mr. Duško Lopandić, President of the Forum for International Relations of the European Movement in Serbia; Mr. Guy Verhofstadt, President of the International European Movement; Milica Borjanić, Secretary General of KOMS; Anja Krajnov, Vice President of the Youth Forum of the European Movement in Serbia; and moderator Ms. Dragana Đurica, Secretary General of the European Movement in Serbia.
The discussion focused on a realistic view of the current circumstances surrounding Serbia’s EU integration process, a critical assessment of the EU’s approach to enlargement, and its broader geopolitical context. It concluded with the idea that young people are the bearers of the European vision—one that implies a predictable and stable future for the individual.
